Cayucos Mural Society • Founded in 1992 as a non-profit group, the Cayucos Mural Society supports the painting of quality murals on historical and environmental topics which characterize Cayucos, on walls dedicated by merchants and by private citizens. The beaches in Cayucos are maintained by both the State Parks (805) 772-4006 and the Parks Division of San Luis Obispo County (805) 781-5930 . The State is responsible for beaches south of Old Creek and SLO County north of Old Creek.
In town we have the Sea Shanty Restaurant, Bill & Carol Shea 805-995-3272 that offereing catering. And, there is The Little Market, Tracy Nickson 805-995-2076 that offers wonderful catering for gatherings of many sizes. Neither are on the beach but both offer a wonderful menu and would be most helpful in your catering needs.
As far as venues the Cayucos Creek Barn, Dave Ottenberg 805-995-2965 (www.cayucoscreekbarn.com) The Cayucos Creek Barn is perfectly located one mile from the beach and Highway "1" in our little beach town. Or we also have the Cayucos Vet's Hall 805-995-2401 which is located at the Pier and offers a barbeque area out back should you wish to handle yourself or hire out.
